FAQs

How much are your services?

1

We not do accept insurance, as we are not a clinical practice.

Is this therapy or counseling?

2

Monaé & Co. Youth Mentorship and Care provides mentorship and care navigation, not therapy or clinical mental health treatment. We do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, rather we work in tandem with families, doctors, therapists, and schools to support children. If a family is seeking therapy, we can help with referrals and support navigating those systems.

Who are your services for?

3

Our mentorship services are designed for children and adolescents, typically ages 4–18, and families seeking culturally responsive, and accessible support. We support the dual-working household, low-income families, families needing a new approach, and “first timers”.

Our nanny services are meant to support families needing consistent full time or part time care to support their children.

How do you ensure ethical boundaries?

4

We provide clear informed consent, maintain non-clinical documentation, follow mandatory reporting laws, and communicate openly with families about the scope of services. Ethical practice is central to our work.

If you have additional questions, we welcome you to reach out—our goal is to ensure families feel informed, supported, and confident in their care decisions.
